I am recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a team on a temp to perm basis. * Previous logistics experience with DHL, K&N, FedEx, or any 3PL or 4PL logistics service provider. * Desired skills in freight forwarding, UK domestic ground, international air and ocean, customs documentation and terminology. * Must have experience with the full Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Outlook365, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint Duties will include- * Heavy Data Entry * Logistics Shipping & Booking * Freight Forwarding * Sending Emails * Taking Phone Calls Experience required for this role- * Operational experience in Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management. * Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Power Point, Word, Excel & BI Tool (i.e. Tableau/Qlikview) * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Must be versed on safety and compliance issues * Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems * High degree of logic, initiative, self organization and creativeness * Highly developed written, verbal, and inter-personal skills * Strong situational analysis and quickly solve problems This role is working Monday- Friday working 8 hours per day, start time can be flexible between 7am & 9am- a fixed time can be agreed if successful. During training/probation the expectation would be 5 days working in the office per week, but after that they can offer 2 days working from home per week. DBS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE, WE CAN PROVIDE ONE AND THE COST WILL BE DEDUCTED OUT OF YOUR FIRST WEEK PAY. 5 YEARS WORK HISTORY REFERENCES ALSO REQUIRED
