Position Information
* Experience of working clinically at Band 6 level or above in the NHS.
* Valid driving licence and access to a pool vehicle for domiciliary visits; own vehicle mileage reimbursed at NHS rates.
* Valid PVG and current HCPC registration required.
* Provide predominantly out‑patient Occupational Therapy with some in‑patient and domiciliary visits.
* Experience in treating a variety of rheumatology and hand conditions, including splinting and neurological conditions, is desirable.
* Service provided across the Western Isles; travel for a clinic in the Southern Isles may be needed.
What you will do
* Provide expert assessment, planning, and intervention for patients with rheumatology and hand conditions.
* Design and implement personalised therapy programmes for diverse patient needs.
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that maximise independence and quality of life.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and comprehensive patient care.
* Offer patient education and advice to support ongoing rehabilitation.
* Travel as required to provide services across the Western Isles, including occasional clinics in the Southern Isles.
* Document patient progress accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
