Overview
Ward 44 is a 30 bedded combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and Colorectal surgical specialties. The successful applicant will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care. The unit is forward-thinking and committed to teamwork that benefits the patient and improves their journey.
Responsibilities
* Work different shift patterns over 7 days, meeting physical demands including patient manual handling.
* Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
* Participate in training as required.
Qualifications
* Recent acute inpatient experience.
* Active interest in working within an acute hospital setting and the ability to rise to the challenge of a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Additional Information
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
