About the Role
At Meadows View School, the School Receptionist is much more than a front-of-house role — you are the welcoming smile that sets the tone for everyone who enters our school. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing friendly, professional, and reassuring support in a calm and structured environment.
You’ll ensure the safety and security of the school, manage visitor access, respond to calls and emails, and assist the Admin Lead with key administrative tasks, including attendance monitoring, communicating with parents, and maintaining accurate records. Your role is central to keeping the school running smoothly and making sure pupils, staff, and families feel valued and supported every day.

Essential Criteria
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
3. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy school environment
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems
5. Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
6. Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
7. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
8. Previous experience in a school or reception/admin role is desirable but not essential
About us
Meadows View School is a brand-new specialist school in Lincolnshire, part of Options Autism. Based in Stamford, our school supports up to 25 pupils aged 4–11 with autism, complex communication needs, and associated learning needs.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
