We are seeking an Apprentice to join our Slate Tiling team and learn the ropes of the trade. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
The role will include:
* A dedicated mentor, the mentor will train you and teach you the skills of the trade.
* Installing slates and tiles
* Operate power tools and hand tools under supervision.
* Install underlay, battens and related roofing materials.
* Carry out a range of job tasks including measuring, marking out, fitting, finishing, positioning and securing.
* Solar panel installation.
Qualifications:
* Eagerness to learn and develop skills in various trades.
* Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
* Strong interest in becoming a fully qualified roofer.
Tools/PPE:
* You'll receive a full tool kit when you have been officially enrolled onto an apprenticeship.
* After 3 months, you will receive a nail gun.
* All PPE and uniform is provided.
