Vehicle Service Technician / Haverfordwest
1. Salary: Around £28,500 per annum plus performance-related monthly bonus scheme.
2. Hours: 42.5 per week over a guaranteed 5-day week. Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 2 Sat 8:00am-4:00pm (day off in the week when you work a Sat).

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Service Technician to join their centre in Haverfordwest.
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a team, your responsibilities shall include:
4. Accurate tyre repairs and tyre fitting to all makes of vehicles.
5. Completing routine maintenance & service repair work.
6. Perform repairs when required, providing quality workmanship at all times, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
7. Completing brake, exhaust and suspension changes and maintenance along with wheel alignment and tyre fitting on cars and LCVs/Vans
8. To maintain accurate documentation in line with our client's policies and procedures
9. Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
10. Help our client maintain its industry-leading standards.
To be eligible, you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Haverfordwest and have proven experience and a background as a competent Vehicle Service Technician, either from experience gained through continued employment or an apprenticeship. You will have a friendly and approachable manner, given that you shall occasionally assist at the front reception desk with customer enquiries and be able to produce high-quality work within specified time frames. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential.
