A high-growth professional services firm based in Leeds centre is seeking a Financial Controller to join its expanding team. This is a client-facing role, ideal for an experienced finance professional with either industry or practice experience, who can combine technical expertise with commercial insight.
This is a hybrid role based in a modern city centre office with 3 days WFH.
You will be responsible for the delivery of management accounts, budegts, forecasts and statutory reporting. Acting as a trusted business partner, youll look to improve processes, deliver best-in-class finance functions, and provide commercial finance insights that add real value.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team, ensuring delivery of accurate, timely accounts
Lead finance function services for new and existing clients
Oversee management accounts, statutory reporting, and project work
Deliver process reviews, system insights, and financial remediation projects
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, providing trusted, commercial advice
About You:
Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with practice or industry experience
Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
Experienced in cloud accounting systems
