Role Overview
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum
* Use assessment to monitor pupil progress and inform future planning
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and higher-attaining learners
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leadership
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development alongside academic growth
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school-wide initiatives
