As the Principal Social Worker, you will be at the forefront of developing excellent social work practice and shaping the future of adult social care in Lancashire. Key Responsibilities: Leadership : Provide professional guidance and oversight for social work practice, including Approved Mental Health Act assessments. Workforce Development : Lead initiatives to develop the adult community social care workforce. Research and Innovation : Promote and utilise research to drive evidence-informed practice and improvements. Strategic Influence : Use your expertise to inform strategic decisions and respond to new legislation and policy changes. Quality Assurance : Ensure high standards of practice and lead quality assurance initiatives. Collaboration : Work with partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes. What We're Looking For: A professional Social Work qualification and significant professional practice experience. Extensive experience in adult social care safeguarding and high-risk pathways. Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to improve practice and services. Exceptional leadership skills to influence and motivate others to achieve ambitious targets.
