Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading construction company in LS25 who are looking to hire a permanent Assistant Finance Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.

Responsibilities:
Provide full support to the Finance Manager, working closely alongside them and the procurement manager ensuring all deadlines are met. General duties will involve:
* Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledger
* Credit control, being proactive to chase outstanding monies in a timely manner
* Reconciling Supplier Statements
* Processing Supplier Payments
* Reconciling Bank and Credit Cards
* Processing accruals, prepayments and deferred Income
* Preparing for month end, year end and assisting with the audit
Required Skills and Experience:
* AAT qualified, or equivalent
* Month end procedures experience
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Ability to prioritise and have good attention to detail
* Proactive self-starter, able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* SAGE 50 experience would be beneficial
