IT Support Technician, permanent, full-time position, fully office-based Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. We are continuing to grow and need a qualified and tech-savvy IT Support Technician with experience in Active Directory, Office 365, and helpdesk support to join our friendly team. There is travel within the UK, so you'll need a full driving licence and be a car owner.
You'll be the first point of contact for our sites across the UK for all IT issues and requests. As part of this, you'll travel to our sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. It is essential that you have previous experience as an IT Support Technician, good knowledge of various IT systems and software, excellent people skills, and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities for IT Support Technician
* Provide IT support via helpdesk, phone, and email to a high standard.
* Manage support tickets, take corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
* Proactively perform housekeeping tasks to improve security and reduce future issues.
* Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory, Office 365, and other platforms.
* Assist with PC moves, setups, configurations, and improvements.
* Take ownership of the IT inventory, ensuring it is always up to date.
* Liaise with IT suppliers to escalate issues and roll out updates and improvements.
Requirements
* Willingness to frequently travel to sites.
