Packaging and Graphics Designer Role
The Packaging and Graphics Designer is responsible for conceptual creation and development of packaging artworks and graphics for Frasers Group's own-brand categories, primarily for Sports Direct. The role involves guiding and mentoring junior team members, understanding manufacturing processes, production methods, and materials, and managing a diverse workload while maintaining high standards.
The designer must communicate effectively with colleagues and buyers, designing and creating artworks for consumer packaging (primary and secondary packs). They should ensure artworks are suitable for production, maintain brand integrity, and deliver high-quality results in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Qualifications
1. 2-5 years of experience in a design discipline, with a focus on packaging or graphic design.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
3. Ability to generate ideas and concepts around product packaging briefs.
4. Experience creating cohesive packaging for various brands while adhering to guidelines.
5. Knowledge of different packaging materials and finishes.
6. Experience working with factories and managing end-to-end processes.
7. Problem-solving skills and ability to suggest improvements.
8. Project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
9. Understanding of sustainability messaging regulations.
