About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in the BH12 area. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter half term, ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring young learners.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Support pupils in preparation for end of Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs)
* Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
* Strong classroom management skills
* A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
