WORKING DAYS BETWEEN:
MONDAY - SUNDAY: START TIMES 04.00 - 10.00
MONDAY - SUNDAY: START TIMES 15.00 - 00.00
£15.65 - £29.91 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in HINCKLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE.

Rates of Pay
* Monday - Friday: £15.65 per hour basic /£18.17 per hour overtime
* Saturday - Sunday: £23.47 per hour basic/£26.00 per hour overtime
* Bank Holiday: £27.38 per hour basic/£29.91 per hour overtime
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
* Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles
* Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
* Driving assessment must be completed
* After successful Assessment, there will be a one day paid induction
