We have an exciting opportunity for a
Graduate Mechanical Engineer
to join our engineering team, supporting the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across our frameworks.
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Support the design, specification and delivery of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities
* Assist in reviewing technical drawings, calculations and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
* Contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability and performance
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical and process engineers to deliver integrated project outcomes
* Attend site visits to gain hands-on experience and understand the practical aspects of mechanical installations
* Support the preparation of technical reports, risk assessments and method statements
* Learn how to manage suppliers and subcontractors, and contribute to procurement activities
* Gain exposure to project planning, budgeting and quality assurance processes
* Participate in commissioning activities and performance testing of mechanical systems
You'll be:
* Learning how mechanical systems operate within the water industry, including pumps, valves, pipework and treatment equipment
* Developing an understanding of asset lifecycle, maintenance strategies and reliability engineering
* Building confidence in applying engineering principles to real-world challenges
* Supported by experienced engineers and mentors to help you grow into a future technical leader
