HR Generalist Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support at our production site in Campsie, supporting Operational Managers across all aspects of their people strategy. You will be an integral part of the HR team supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in Ireland.
Responsibilities include:
1. Utilizing HR and other business systems to build and report on employee KPIs, enabling fact-based decision-making.
2. Monitoring HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Providing HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policies and employment legislation across the manufacturing network in Ireland.
4. Supporting HR system integration and change management initiatives.
5. Assisting managers with staff management and achievement of objectives.
6. Driving HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identifying and evaluating development needs within the business.
8. Developing departmental plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Ensuring compliance with HR procedures and policies.
10. Collaborating with recruitment providers and hiring managers to recruit qualified candidates.
11. Resolving HR issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
12. Performing HR administration duties and maintaining personnel records.
13. Providing data to payroll for accurate monthly payroll administration.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR-related role, including employee relations.
* HR or relevant degree is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is beneficial.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with HR databases and MS Office.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands: The role requires presence on a manufacturing site, adherence to PPE and EHS policies.
Travel: Approximately 10% travel to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny).
