About the Role
A welcoming and well‑established primary school in Burnley is seeking a KS2 PPA Teacher to join the team from 13th April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys delivering high‑quality lessons across different KS2 year groups.
You will provide PPA cover across the Key Stage 2 team, ensuring consistency for pupils and supporting the school’s strong teaching and learning culture. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons across KS2 classes
* Provide effective PPA cover that ensures continuity in learning
* Support curriculum development within KS2
* Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
* Contribute to the wider life of the school

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
