The Role:
Our Children's Services Department provides a high quality and effective range of services for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is an opportunity to apply your administrative skills and experience to the field of special educational needs. Duties within this role are varied and include supporting statutory SEN processes and supporting the administration of Education, Health and Care (EHC) Assessments and plans for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
What you’ll do:
* Taking and responding to enquiries from families and professionals
* Dealing with correspondence
* Maintaining accurate Records
* Completing necessary financial records
* Data inputting
* Minute taking
* Chasing outstanding documents
What we’re looking for:
You will be a member of close-knit team that provides mutual support and on-the-job training.
You will need to be flexible, well organised, enthusiastic, sensitive to the needs of the children and families we serve and a good team member. You should have strong communication and ICT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and be able to rise to the challenge of a busy and interesting work environment.
