You may think that a Field Service Engineer sounds technical, and in part, it is – but this role is so much more than that. It's about connecting people with what matters most. You’ll be travelling to different locations and meeting new people every day. No two days are the same. One day, you could be installing cutting‑edge broadband in a customer's home; the next, you’re troubleshooting an issue and helping someone get back online and making their day. You’ll enjoy the freedom of working outside and experience real job progression. And the best part? You’ll only be working 4 days out of 7 each week.
No experience? No problem. We’ll fully train and support you through a detailed onboarding stage when you join, and you’ll have a dedicated mentor.
What You’ll Do
* Install and maintain broadband, TV, and phone services to customers’ homes.
* Quickly resolve technical issues, ensuring customers stay connected to what matters most.
* Provide exceptional service that leaves every customer satisfied and smiling.
* Work independently with the backing of a supportive team, always there to help you deliver your best.
The Must Haves
* A UK manual driving licence.
* Confidence working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
* To live in one of the specified postcodes above.
The Other Stuff We Are Looking For
* A problem‑solving mindset and a passion for helping customers.
* A methodical, organised approach to work.
* The ability to be composed and adapt to any situation.
What's in It for You
* A starting salary of £29,000 with the potential to earn up to £36,200 through on‑target earnings (£4,700 overtime + £2,500 commission).
* Private medical cover through BUPA, a healthcare plan, and critical illness insurance.
* Market‑leading maternity, paternity, neonatal, and carers leave policies.
* 25 days of annual leave, UK bank holidays and your birthday off. Plus, the option to buy and sell up to 5 extra days.
* A 4‑day working week – After training, you’ll work 37.5 hours across just 4 days (Monday to Saturday), with shifts ranging between 7.5 and 10 hours.
* Up to 10% employer pension contributions and life insurance.
We’re committed to making our hiring process accessible to everyone. If you need any adjustments, just let us know – we’re happy to help. So, if you’re ready for a rewarding career where no two days are the same, apply today.
