With over two decades of success and a growing customer base, the business is well positioned for continued expansion and now requires a dedicatedpliance professional to support its next phase of growth.
Your new roleReporting to a member of the board, you’ll act as the central coordination point for allpliance, regulatory, health & safety, contractualernance and legal liaison matters.Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the organisation’spliance framework and monitoring regulatory change.
2. Acting as the lead for industry‑specific regulatory matters, including Ofgem‑related obligations.
3. Overseeing GDPR, data protection processes and third‑party risk controls.
4. Leading internal audits and ensuring consistent customer onboardingernance.
5. Owning the Health & Safety framework, audits and external certifications.
6. Coordinating early‑stage disputes and managing external legal counsel.
7. Supporting HR with employment‑related matters via external advisers.
8. Overseeing contracternance and coordinating contract reviews and negotiations.
What you’ll need to succeedEssential:
9. 5+ years’ experience inpliance, risk orernance
10. Strong stakeholder‑influencing skills and experience managing external advisers.
11. Robust understanding of GDPR, regulatorypliance and health & safety.
12. Experience with audits, policy development and implementation.
Desirable:
13. Experience within the energy sector or another regulated environment.
14. Exposure to ISO frameworks or constructionpliance.
