Responsibilities
* Act as the technical authority for cloud architecture and governance across complex environments.
* Design, review, and evolve cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
* Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure architectural alignment.
* Remain hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployments, and environment configuration.
* Support, coach, and mentor junior engineers across projects.
* Engage with stakeholders, building trusted relationships with internal teams and external clients.
Required Skills
* Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, ideally focused on AWS-based solutions.
* Strong background in automation, infrastructure delivery, and governance.
* Hands‑on experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
* Understanding of ITIL frameworks, managed services, and post‑implementation support.
* Experience in Agile working environments.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for innovation.
* A background in infrastructure and networking is advantageous.
Security Requirements
* This role requires the successful applicant to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance.
* To be eligible, you must have resided in the UK continuously for at least 5 years and meet other government security vetting requirements.
