We're looking for a Hire Controller to join our team and play a key role in delivering a first-class service to our customers and keeping our plant hire operations running smoothly. You'll be organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating across teams and with clients.
What you'll do
As an essential part of the Hire Desk team, you'll:
* Manage the hire and off-hire process for plant and equipment
* Provide pricing and specification support to Hire Negotiators
* Ensure accurate and timely quotes are raised for all enquiries
* Maintain up-to-date Live and Closed Hire records
* Monitor and manage re-charges
* Support with hire desk revenue and detailed customer reports
* Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete
* Respond to and resolve hire-related customer queries
* Liaise daily with both the Service and Transport departments
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a motivated and proactive team player who brings energy, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills to the role.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Confident using Microsoft Excel
* Basic knowledge of plant equipment
* A focused, driven mindset and a positive team attitude
