Offer description

The Perle Oban Hotel is hiring an Operations Manager. You'll play a pivotal leadership role within Perle Oban - deputising for the Cluster General Manager (who oversees both Perle Oban and Glencoe House) and leading the property in their absence.

This is a senior, hands-on role for a natural leader who can inspire excellence, drive performance, and ensure every guest experience reflects the quality and care synonymous with Perle Hotels. You'll directly manage the Restaurant & Bar Manager, Head Housekeeper, Reception Manager and Maintenance while working closely with the Head Chef and collaborating with the House Managers at Glencoe House.

Your leadership will ensure seamless operations across accommodation, spa, and F&B, maintaining the property's high standards and warm, authentic service.

About Perle Hotels & Perle Oban

Perle Hotels is an independent collection of distinctive Scottish luxury properties - each one unique, full of character, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Perle Oban is a landmark boutique hotel in the heart of the town - a beautifully restored Victorian gem overlooking the harbour, where contemporary elegance meets historic charm. With 59 stylish rooms, our Brasserie and Lulu Lounge, and a tranquil spa, Perle Oban blends indulgent comfort with the warmth of true Highland hospitality.

We're part of a small but ambitious group that also includes Glencoe House, and together we deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong values, and an authentic sense of place.

Why Oban?

Oban is one of Scotland's most picturesque and welcoming coastal towns - known as the "Gateway to the Isles." Set between the islands, lochs, and mountains of the west coast, Oban offers a unique lifestyle: vibrant and cultural, yet close to nature and adventure.

From sea kayaking and island hopping to enjoying the freshest local seafood or a dram overlooking the harbour, Oban combines small-town charm with world-class scenery. With regular ferry services, train links, and a strong sense of community, it's an incredible place to live, work, and thrive.
