Supplier Risk and Relationship Manager (12 Months FTC)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract | Full Time
Location: Bradford, Chatham or London
Working Pattern: Hybrid—typically one day a week in the office with occasional onsite travel to suppliers. Flexible arrangements are considered to support work-life balance.

The Role
We’re looking for a Supplier Risk and Relationship Manager to lead oversight of our critical suppliers, ensuring compliance with the Third-Party Risk Management Framework. You’ll manage supplier risks, drive performance reviews, and support contract governance, working with stakeholders across the business.
You and your Team
You’ll join a collaborative, expert team that values continuous improvement. You’ll work with Execs, Business Owners and suppliers to deliver value and mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
* Act as an expert and advisor across supplier relationship management and supplier risk.
* Oversee governance and reporting to remain compliant with the Third-Party Risk Management Framework (TPRM).
* Ensure high-quality performance reviews are conducted with Business Owners actively engaged.
* Proactively manage risk; document supplier risks and implement mitigations per Group policies.
* Collaborate with Finance and Budget Owners to improve tracking of supplier spend.
* Assist with Exit Plans maintenance, refresh and testing.
* Engage with the business and suppliers to shape services and improve value from the supply chain.
* Support the monthly Supplier Performance Dashboards for the TPRM Steering Committee.
* Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and grow the business.
* Manage contractual processes and changes/renewals with the Business Owner, Procurement & Legal.
* Deputise for the Senior Supplier Relationship Manager when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Demonstrable experience in supplier risk and assurance activities, including reporting and measurement.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Good time management, with the ability to prioritise and delegate.
* Experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager within Financial Services is essential.
* IT supplier management experience is highly beneficial.
* CIPS qualifications are desirable.
