Are you a focused and process driven Pharmacy Dispenser and have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or working towards? We are looking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our Dispensing team within our Pharmacy Department. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will instantly become a valued member of our Pharmacy team, helping to ensure our patients always receive the highest quality service. We have 2 positions, a 6 month fixed term contract and a 9 month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, working any 7.5 hours between the hours of 8am - 7pm. Accurately and efficiently ensuring all patients prescriptions are available for dispensing Working closely with internal departments including Patients’ Services, the Production Unit and Warehouse to ensure the patients supply requirements are met Liaising by email and telephone with hospitals, surgeries and dieticians to ensure prescriptions are available and patients’ treatment is continued seamlessly Liaising with the other Apprentice Dispensers, Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across all the Pharmacy sections Promptly responding to any email and telephone queries that arise as part of the prescription processioning procedures Undertaking other reasonable duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Services Team Leader Must have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or be working towards Strong IT skills are essential, experience with SAP would be an advantage, however not essential Excellent telephone manner is essential GCSE’s in Maths, English and Science Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination.
