Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Middlesbrough Hours: Full time 5 days a week Pay Rate: £90 to £110 per day Do you want to make a real difference in children's education? Empowering Learning are working with schools in the Middlesbrough area and are looking for experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within Primary School and SEN settings across all key stages. Due to a recent high demand in Teaching Assistant placements in Schools across the area for 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support we are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants, who have recent experience of working with pupils in Primary School or SEN settings. Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students. Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials. Requirements: Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 is essential). Experience in working within a Primary School or SEN setting. Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with children with SEN needs Caring and compassionate approach towards students. Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
