Ho, ho, ho This Christmas, Chester Zoo will be sprinkled with festive magic As families wander through shimmering lanterns and sparkling displays, you'll be there to make sure their magical memories last forever. We're on the lookout for Santa's little helpers to join our team and spread joy, laughter, and holiday cheer to families from near and far.

What does the role involve?
As one of Santa's festive helpers at Chester Zoo Lanterns, you'll be spreading cheer by engaging with guests, capturing magical Christmas moments, and helping families take home treasured keepsakes. From twinkling photos to stocking-filler souvenirs, you'll make sure every visitor's experience is merry and bright You will be:
* Using our cameras to capture sparkling smiles and festive moments, making sure each shot is as magical as the lantern-lit trails.
* Sharing and promoting our photo gifts and retail treasures - upselling where appropriate to help guests find the perfect memento.
* Operating tills with festive cheer - handling purchases, card payments, and transactions smoothly.
* Keeping our retail space as tidy and welcoming as Santa's workshop - clean, organised, and full of Christmas sparkle.
* Helping with stock - restocking shelves, checking inventory, and making sure the shelves are never short of festive delights.
* Teaming up with your fellow Christmas crew to reach daily goals, share smiles, and spread joy
What skills do I need to have?
* Festive Customer Service: A warm, friendly nature and the ability to make every guest feel like the star on top of the Christmas tree.
* Tech Confidence: Comfortable using tills, card machines, and POS systems - a bit like Santa's sleigh dashboard, but easier
* Sparkling Communication: Clear, confident, and cheerful - whether you're chatting with families or helping children pose for their magical photo.
* Team Spirit: A willingness to support your fellow elves and keep the atmosphere as jolly as a Christmas Eve party
