We’re on the hunt for a dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber to join a Community Drug and Alcohol Detox Clinic based in Chorley, Lancashire. As a Non-Medical Prescriber in our client’s clinic, you can expect a generous salary of up to £50, per annum, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a thorough induction to set you up for success. Not to mention, the working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Our client operates a Community Drug and Alcohol Detox Clinic in Chorley, Lancashire. They provide essential substance misuse inpatient services, helping people with addiction and mental health issues. They’re known for their experienced and dedicated team who work tirelessly to offer a high level of care to all patients.
As the Non-Medical Prescriber, your responsibilities will include:
1. Administering vaccinations, including BBV and Hepatitis C Screening
2. Conducting ECG’s
3. Assisting with alcohol and opiate detoxification
4. Promoting health within the community
5. Distributing and administering medication and controlled drugs
6. Completing physical and psychological medical assessments

The ideal Non-Medical Prescriber will have:
12. RGN qualification with a background working in substance misuse
13. Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification V
14. Demonstrable experience or interest in substance misuse
15. Titration Experience (highly desired)
16. Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
