This opportunity is for an intermediate mechanical design engineer to take on a role within the building services team. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge, experience and problem-solving skills on local net zero projects through to leading complex UK-based engineering projects. Responsibilities * Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. * Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems - heating, cooling, ventilation, controls, etc. * Carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools Preparing technical specifications. * Collaborate with the BIM team to prepare models and drawings * Client meetings, site surveys, inspections and monitor site works. * Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload * Assist with technical development of junior staff. Requirements * Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related subjects. * Working towards CEng with CIBSE or IMechE. * Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools, Revit and IES VE experience would be advantageous. * Flexible attitude and enthusiastic approach to work and level of responsibility given. * This role requires you to be a UK national due to the nature of some client projects.
