At Queen Elizabeth High School (QEHS), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our mantra—Support. Believe. Achieve —is at the heart of everything we do. As part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT), we work collaboratively to deliver exceptional education across our community, which includes four local primary schools.
Why QEHS?
Nestled in the picturesque town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, QEHS offers a unique blend of rural charm and accessibility—just 20 minutes from Hereford and 25 minutes from Worcester. With stunning views of the Malvern Hills and even the Black Mountains on a clear day, our location provides an inspiring backdrop for teaching and learning.
STEM at QE
We have a strong commitment to making science real and relevant. Our pupils enjoy a rich programme of trips and experiences designed to ignite curiosity and deepen understanding, including:
• The Big Bang Fair
• STEM-focused rural shows and agricultural fairs
• Visits to working farms, colleges and universities
• Trips exploring medical and veterinary science careers
These experiences complement our classroom learning and help students see the real-world impact of science.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher who can spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning. You will deliver engaging lessons, foster critical thinking, and help students explore the wonders of science through creative teaching, hands-on experiments, and evidence-based strategies. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, we’ll support your development with a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme.
What We’re Looking For
• A passion for science and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
• The ability to create stimulating lessons that ignite curiosity.
• A desire to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
