Your new roleAs Site Engineer, you'll be a key part of the site leadership team, working closely with the Section Engineer and Site Management to drive the successful delivery of this complex civils scheme. The role is permanent and site-based, offering real exposure to day-to-day engineering operations on a major infrastructure project.Your duties will include:- Setting out works accurately in line with design drawings and specifications- Checking drawings and quantities to ensure technical accuracy- Coordinating material requirements and supporting procurement activities- Planning and organising site activities to meet programme milestones- Liaising effectively with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team- Supervising site labour and monitoring subcontractor performance- Ensuring all works comply with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements- Maintaining quality documentation and resolving engineering challenges- Arranging testing, calibration and maintaining a detailed site diary- Supporting the Site Manager with additional engineering and coordination tasksThis role suits an engineer who enjoys problem-solving on site and takes a proactive, detail-focused approach to delivery.
