Our client, a renowned contractor based in the Northwest, is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their exceptional team. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across a range of critical contracts. This role requires a proactive engineer who can ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Conduct system inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Work across a variety of sites including MOD, MOJ, healthcare, and educational facilities.
* Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver a high standard of service.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and system conditions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer.
* Relevant HVAC qualifications (e.g., F-Gas, City & Guilds in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration).
* Gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1) desirable but not essential.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Willingness to undertake further training and development.
