An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join our small friendly team based in St Edmunds. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). You will hold the registration for the services and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the services, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
Mencap delivers high-quality personalized support to people with a learning disability and their families. Leading a dedicated team of Support Workers, we are looking for an energetic and confident Service Manager.
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you’ll be accountable for people management and development across the service teams. This is a key role in guaranteeing the quality of our service delivery and ensuring that we are always improving. As our lead contact in this area, you will be self-motivated and determined, with a passion for positive change and the confidence to make difficult decisions under pressure.
