Salary: Up to £21.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Radiographer to join their team of staff in theImagingdepartment.
This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include:
* Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g., general X‑rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols.
* Ensure high‑quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis, minimising the need for repeat exposures.
* Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics and patients with limited mobility.
* Provide a safe, dignified, and person‑centred service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable and reassured throughout their examination.
* Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration.
* Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and used safely and effectively, reporting faults promptly.
* Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques and digital systems (e.g., PACS, RIS).
* Work closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
* HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
* Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
* Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control and patient confidentiality requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient‑centred approach.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area desirable (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography).
