Job title: Security Project Manager Location: Warton (On-site) Rate: £680 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 12 months rolling MOD DV Clearence is required for this role Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Security Project Manager with current MOD DV clearance to support a major UK defence programme based on-site in Warton. The role will focus on managing security-focused workstreams within a highly classified environment, ensuring delivery is compliant with MOD security standards, governance, and timelines. This is a long-term contract opportunity operating inside IR35, requiring consistent on-site presence due to the sensitivity of the programme. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage security-related projects and workstreams within a defence environment Plan, coordinate, and deliver security activities in line with programme milestones Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and security controls across the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with MOD policies and frameworks including JSP 440, JSP 604, and associated assurance processes Act as the primary interface between security architects, engineering teams, suppliers, and MOD stakeholders Support accreditation, assurance, and audit activities Produce and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance packs, and security documentation Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and delivery status to senior stakeholders Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering security-focused projects within MOD or defence environments Current MOD DV clearance (mandatory - no sponsorship available) Strong understanding of information assurance, security governance, and compliance Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong documentation, reporting, and governance capability If you are interested in this role or wish to apply, please feel free to submit your CV.
