Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Penistone (S36)
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are currently recruiting a dynamic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join schools in Penistone. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about delivering impactful science education across Key Stages and supporting pupils to reach their full academic potential.
Responsibilities
* Plan and teach high-quality science lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and cross-departmental projects.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is mandatory.
* Experience teaching Science in UK schools.
* Strong knowledge of the national science curriculum.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Full CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
