What You Will Do:
- Plan and execute service visits to meet the unique needs of global customers, ensuring their utmost satisfaction.
- Represent the company with professionalism and expertise during on-site service, embodying the company's commitment to excellence.
- Perform comprehensive on-site service and maintenance on state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC systems.
- Conduct on-site calibration of machines, guaranteeing their optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, including time and fault logs.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the service department to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Bring:
- A minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in a relevant field, or equivalent, showcasing your ability to work on sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in a machine tool service role, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to excellence.
- Direct customer liaison skills, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of modern machine tool operation, maintenance, and building, equipping you to tackle challenges head-on.
- Training in the use of Renishaw Ball-Bar equipment and Renishaw laser calibration equipment, further enhancing your technical proficiency.
