About the Team:
Warwickshire County Council has an exciting new opportunity to recruit a Team Manager in the Fostering and Kinship Team on a fixed term 2-year contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on Kinship Fostering Supervision and Support which includes Private Fostering. The successful post holder will work closely with 3 other Supervision and Support Team Managers and will be a welcome addition to the management team. The wider Fostering and Kinship team consists of recruitment, assessment, training and SGO support team. The service also benefits from a dedicated commissioned Psychology service to support foster carers and provide staff with reflective supervisions and training.
The service is countywide and we have two bases in the North and the South of the county.
This role will cover a supervisory role for currently six social workers and be responsible for management of our Private Fostering arrangements.

About the Role:
We are recruiting for the role of Supervision and Support Manager in our Fostering and Kinship Service. You would lead a stable and established team of Team of Supervision and Support Social Workers.
The Service is county wide however your base will be Myton Park, Myton Road, Warwick. The position is 37 hours, fixed term for 2 years.
5. Support staff performance, development, and training
6. Chair key meetings and uphold the National Fostering Regulations 2011
7. Management Oversight and awareness of Private Fostering arrangements
8. Promote multi‑disciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes for children
9. To manage high quality Fostering Service ensuring that comprehensive support services and robust supervision is provided to all foster carers.
10. To support with Fostering Duty, allocations and team meetings.
11. To ensure team compliance with Foster Home Annual Reviews.
12. To commit to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people and protecting them from risk of harm.
