About the Department:
The Department of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions (MSRA) provides professional and responsive services to meet and exceed student recruitment targets through engaging external and internal communications that showcase SOAS's values and expertise.
The team collaborates closely with central services like Advancement, Partnerships, Human Resources, Registry, Student Engagement, IT, Legal and Governance, Estates, the Students’ Union, and academic departments.
About the Role
Reporting to the External Communications Manager, the role involves sourcing and creating written, audio, and visual content related to learning, teaching, research, and other activities for diverse audiences, with a focus on media engagement.
The role requires liaising with colleagues across the School to generate content, plan dissemination, and support the External Communications Manager in enhancing SOAS's public profile nationally and internationally.
Additionally, the role supports media engagement for key projects and activities such as public events, fundraising, alumni relations, marketing, and student recruitment efforts.
