The Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to play a key role in the finance function of a leading insurance company.
Working alongside another finance professional at a similar level, you’ll take ownership of more complex accounting areas, supporting month-end reporting and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
* Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
* Supporting and contributing to the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
* Managing Accounts Payable activity with oversight of processing and payment runs.mien
