We are looking for AHP Support Worker to join the friendly team within the Physiotherapy Department at Stracathro Hospital
You will work closely with the other members of the Physiotherapy Team within the outpatient department to provide a high-quality physiotherapy service to patients across the locality. This role will require you to be a good communicator to both patients and staff both in person and on the telephone. The role will include conducting group exercise sessions as well as one to one rehabilitation sessions to assist the qualified physiotherapy staff. This role will also provide cover for the AHP Support Worker within the surgical unit at Stracathro treating orthopaedic post-op patients. There will also be some requirement for both administrative and infection control duties. Experience working with the public is essential but experience working with patients in a clinical setting would be advantageous.
Your performance must comply with the national “Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers 2009” and with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week
