Health Care Support Worker
Arbroath Infirmary is currently trialling 12hr shift pattern
A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker. This post is based at Arbroath Infirmary inpatient ward, caring for a wide variety of patients with wide ranging health care needs to include rehabilitation, step down from acute hospitals, palliative care and long-term conditions. There may be occasions where you could be required to cover in Whitehills - Clova/Isla wards.
We are looking for an individual who is forward thinking, with excellent communication skills, with a passion to drive improvements to join the team within our 21‑beded ward. Also covering a medicine for the elderly day treatment and day hospital service is also delivered within the unit. The successful applicant will work closely with the multidisciplinary team who are dedicated to delivering safe and effective person‑centred care and rehabilitation. Applicants will demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach to caring for elderly patients, whilst still promoting rehabilitation for our patient group, including palliative care.
This is an exciting opportunity, as we implement new models of care within the ward that will support the delivery of high quality; person centred safe and effective patient care.
