We are working with our valued client to appoint an organised and detail-driven Receipt Management Clerk to join their Finance team on a temporary 6 month basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and finance support skills who can ensure receipts are accurately recorded, reconciled, and processed within agreed deadlines. This role will be hybrid following probation – 3 days office, 2 days from home Key Responsibilities * Process and record incoming receipts accurately across multiple systems * Post payments received * Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly receipt transactions, investigating discrepancies promptly * Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Credit Control, Sales) to resolve receipt queries * Chase and verify remittances and monitor remittance inbox * Assist with direct debits * Maintain accurate filing and documentation to support audit requirements * Support in preparing receipt and payment allocation reports for management * Assist with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as required Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or cash allocation role (preferred) * Strong numerical skills and attention to detail * Confident with Microsoft Excel, Office and general finance systems * Good communication skills to liaise effectively across departments * Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Contract Details * Contract Type: 6 month temporary assignment (with potential for extension). * Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday * Pay: £26,500 If you are interested in this job role please submit your application, alternatively you can give us a call to be the first to apply Due to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
