I’m currently working with a highly regarded regional law firm to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer to join its growing team based inYork. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a high-quality and varied caseload while working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Property and collaborate with a well-established team advising a diverse client base, including landowners, developers, commercial investors, housebuilders and agricultural clients. The firm is known for its strong reputation across commercial property, agricultural work and development matters, offering exposure to complex and interesting transactions.
The role offers a broad mix of work, including:
* Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold property (commercial and residential)
* Conditional land transactions, including those subject to planning
* Promotion and option agreements
* Lease grants (commercial and residential)
* Development work, including site acquisitions and disposals
* Overage, planning and infrastructure agreements
* Easements and rights of way
* Secured lending and property finance matters
* Portfolio management and financing
This is a role where you’ll be encouraged to take ownership of matters you are confident handling, while also being supported to develop your expertise in more complex transactions alongside senior colleagues.
You’ll also work closely with teams across Commercial Property, Agricultural Property and Company Commercial, making this a genuinely collaborative and well-rounded position.
About You

* Have experience in commercial property (ideally 2+ PQE, but more junior candidates will be considered)
