Conference & Events Sales Coordinator

30 racedays per year, plus a wide range of other exciting non-racing events including: concerts, conferences, onsite hotel and our award-winning Rocking Horse Nursery.
We are seeking a C&E Sales Coordinator to join our friendly Sales Team to maximise revenue and profitability and coordinate non-Raceday events.
Represent Newbury Racecourse Conference & Events business to existing and potential clients onsite and off site, maximising sales revenue and profitability.
Respond to and convert new Conference & Events leads in a timely manner and in line with our C&E process.
Produce proposals for new enquiries and keep the booking system updated in real time to allow for accurate sales forecasting.
Coordinate event planning for internal and external client events and provide event management assistance on the day when required.
Work with the Operations team to ensure all information for events is recorded and shared appropriately.
Carry out event feedback and encourage rebooking.
Assist with all C&E sales administration, to include: updating the events diary, responding to email and telephone enquiries, producing contracts and checking event revenue is correct and passed to the finance team for invoicing.
Proven experience in a sales environment, ideally within a hospitality or events environment.
Prior experience within the hospitality or events industries would be advantageous.
