Title:Head of Marketing UK + EMEA (Maternity Cover)
Location:Hybrid London Office/Remote
Reports to:Chief Marketing Officer with Dotted Line to GM, EMEA
A strategic Head of Marketing role spanning UK + EMEA, to lead integrated marketing across the UK and support distributor-led markets across the EMEA region. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the brand and trade marketing strategy and plan in the UK, while overseeing and aligning marketing initiatives with key distributors in EMEA to drive brand awareness, engagement, and commercial success.Strong leadership, commercial acumen and communication skills are vital to the role, as is an ability to be both strategic, savvy and entrepreneurial. Balance the building of long term brand equity with short term performance marketing.
UK Brand + Trade Marketing
§Own and lead the UK marketing strategy, covering brand positioning, media, PR, influencer, retail marketing, spa marketing, e-commerce support and B2B amplification.
§Develop and execute UK trade marketing initiatives, driving demand generation through 360 campaigns across retail and digital channels, working closely with sales and commercial teams to maximize sell-in and sell-out.
§Plan and executeproduct/service launches, ensuring effective localisation and execution.
§Work with sales, operations and finance teams to align marketing with business operations.
§Collaborate with global marketing + product teams to localize global campaigns and ensure UK-specific relevance and impact.
§Drive retail execution in-store and online through strong visual merchandising, sampling strategies, and event activations.
§Support the brand retail store with joined up marketing plans that drive footfall and sales whilst building presence within the community.
§Analyze performance data to optimize demand generation, campaign effectiveness and ROI.
§Act as the central marketing lead and brand champion for distributor markets across EMEA, providing strategic guidanceand support to ensure consistent brand messaging and execution. Leverage principles, frameworks and toolkits from the global team.
§Collaborate with distributors to develop tailored annual marketing calendars aligned with global brand strategy and local market nuances.
§Review and approve local marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns, ensuring brand equity and compliance with guidelines.
§Coordinate training and resource sharing across EMEA partners to build marketing capability and maintain high standards.
§Serve as the key point of contact between the brand and distributor marketing teams.
§Lead and inspire a small marketing team.
§Work cross-functionally with sales, education, digital, PR, and global teams to ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints.
§Manage agency partners and key suppliers.
§Present marketing strategy and results to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
§Incorporate relevant usage of AI within all workstreams for agility and effectiveness.
Data + Insights
§Monitor performance and KPIs to optimize communications strategies; leverage data points to inform decisions.
§Own and manage thecountry-level marketing budgeteffectively to customer, revenue and ROI targets.
§Share relevant insights with global team.
Key Requirements
8+ years’ proven experience in marketing, managing both direct markets and distributor-led markets, ideally in the beauty, skincare, wellness or FMCG sector.
Passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
Expert knowledge of the UK market, including experience working with UK beauty retailers and etailers.
Previous experience of working with distributors within EMEA.
Strong knowledge of brand marketing, trade marketing, and digital strategies.
Excellent project management, budgeting, and communication skills.
Natural collaborator with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, often operating in ambiguity.
Ability to travel occasionally across EMEA.
Multi-lingual and spa knowledge is a plus.
