We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Category Buyer up to 9 Months FTC to join Norgine.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Category Buyer to join our Global procurement team.

This role is ideal for candidates with a background in engineering and/or business management with experience and technical knowledge within pharma industry.

The role will support sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and lead to cross-functional projects to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and management of Direct materials and API's.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in sourcing, purchasing and management of Direct materials and API's in line with project requirements and company policies.
* Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Project teams to understand technical specifications and procurement needs.
* Perform Source to Contract Processes and Category Management activities.
* Track and manage materials deliveries to ensure Suppliers performance is met.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.
* Support supplier onboarding and performance evaluation processes.
* Lead and participate in cross-functional project meetings to contribute on overall procurement performance optimization.
* Identify market opportunities for cost savings and processes improvements.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.) and or Business management
* Experience in a procurement role within pharma industry.
* Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, ERP and digital platform and systems.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
* High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
* Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
* Understanding of technical API's specifications.
