Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Services team in Oxford. The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and design solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, education, defence and residential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to begin their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working alongside experienced engineers and gaining exposure to a variety of technically interesting projects.

Graduate Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities
* Assist with the design and development of mechanical building services systems including heating, ventilation and cooling
* Support senior engineers in producing technical drawings, specifications and reports
* Assist with mechanical plant and equipment selection and plantroom layouts
* Contribute to the design and coordination of pipework and ductwork distribution systems
* Attend site visits, surveys and inspections of existing mechanical installations
* Support monitoring of site works to ensure installations meet design specifications
* Assist with reviewing contractor tenders and preparing tender reports
* Work with design software including AutoCAD and Revit
* Assist in developing sustainable and low carbon mechanical design strategies
* Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines where required
Graduate Mechanical Engineer Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
* Knowledge or exposure to building services design principles
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
* Understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards
* Strong interest in sustainable and low carbon building design
* Full UK driving licence
