Hi, Im Harvey! I was born in 2012 and Im looking for a Support Worker to join my team in Melksham, Wiltshire ! Im a sociable and energetic boy who loves adventures and having fun.

Some of my favourite things are going to Costa or Greggs for a cake and hot chocolate, swimming, horse riding, gaming, and playing outside.
I also love spending time with my big family and friendsespecially when theres music and dancing involved.
I live with my mum, dad, and older brother, and they are really important to me.
I also have a big circle of family and friends nearby who I love seeing often.
I have some physical and learning difficulties, and I sometimes experience epilepsy absences when Im tired.
That means I need a bit of extra help to do the things I love and to stay safe and happy.
What Im Looking For I would like a Support Worker who can help me after school, at weekends and in the school holidays.
Youll support me with all aspects of my personal care, daily routines, and making sure I can enjoy all my favourite activitiesboth at home and out in the community.
Youll also help me learn new things and become more independent, which is very important to me.
Youll need to be confident using your own initiative, but dont worryyoull have loads of support from my parents and my Case Manager.
My therapists will also help you learn how to support me best, and youll get training to follow my therapy programmes.

9am3pm or 10am6pm) Weekdays : 11 hours (Tuesdays 4pm9pm, Fridays 4pm10pm) Additional evening shifts may be required (to be agreed in advance) Extra daytime hours available during school holidays We are building a small, reliable team of support workers.
Hours can be shared across regular contracted shifts and Bank support .
Pay MondayFriday : £16.00/hour Weekends & Bank Holidays : £17.00/hour Waking Nights (MonFri) : £17.00/hour Driving Requirements Driver essential youll need your own car to get to work You may drive Harveys automatic car, or use your own vehicle (business mileage paid if it fits his wheelchair/walker and has business insurance) Experience & Requirements Essential : Knowledge of traumatic brain injury and severe disabilities (or willingness to learn) Desirable : Experience working with children with special needs and an interest in therapy programmes Must be comfortable around pets (Harvey has one dog) Interviews & Start Date Rolling interviews apply early to be considered Start ASAP, subject to satisfactory employment checks This is a truly rewarding role where you can support my rehabilitation whilst enabling me to have fun and live life to the fullest.
