Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their UK & Ireland finance team. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you'll take ownership of corporation tax compliance, VAT, reporting, and advisory responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence tax strategy and support key business decisions at a senior level.
The Role at a Glance
* Manage UK & Ireland corporate tax compliance and reporting
* Oversee preparation and submission of VAT returns and quarterly reconciliations
* Liaise with external advisors and auditors during filings and reviews
* Provide tax insight on business activity including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
* Ensure compliance with key areas such as transfer pricing, CFC, and Pillar 2 rules
* Prepare and review tax provisions for quarterly and annual reporting
* Monitor tax legislation changes and evaluate business impact
* Identify and mitigate tax risk across the organisation
What Our Client is Looking For
* Qualified in CTA, ACA, ACCA, ATT (or equivalent)
* Strong background in corporate tax, VAT, and tax advisory
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK & Irish tax regulations
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Experience managing complex tax matters across functions
* Confident in using tax software and Microsoft Office
