Reporting to: Specialist Manager

SuperCamps is a leading provider of activity camps for children, committed to offering fun, safe, and high-quality experiences across the UK. Our camps provide a variety of engaging activities, specialist courses, and opportunities for children to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Course Overview

Kid-Dance is powered by Mum-Dance We've teamed up with the 80s dance fitness legends at Mum-Dance to create an empowering, inclusive experience that makes every child feel like a star. Kid-Dance is a high-energy one-week course where children express themselves through dance and creativity.

Role Overview

As a Supercamps KID DANCE Instructor, you'll lead an exciting week-long dance programme designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and get children moving. Powered by the iconic 80s dance fitness legends at Mum-Dance, this course combines high-energy routines with inclusive fun, giving every child the chance to shine. You'll be responsible for delivering fresh choreography, supporting children of all abilities, and creating an engaging, empowering atmosphere — all building toward a show-stopping end-of-week performance. It's dance, its drama, it's joy — and you'll be at the heart of it.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging dance sessions, teaching fresh choreography and movement-based games suitable for children aged 6–12.
* Create an inclusive, energetic, and supportive environment that builds confidence and encourages creativity.
* Prepare children for the end-of-week performance, supporting them in learning routines and working as a team.
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of all children throughout the course.
* Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond flexibly to the needs of the group.
* Work collaboratively with other camp staff to maintain a fun and professional atmosphere.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold the highest standards of child protection.
* Be a positive role model, inspiring children through enthusiasm, encouragement, and creativity.

Person Specification

Essential:

* Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about inspiring children through dance and movement.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, or leading dance or physical activity sessions for children aged 6–12.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage children of varying abilities and confidence levels.
* Understanding of child safeguarding and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
* Highly motivated, responsible, and adaptable to fast-paced camp settings.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to obtain a valid DBS check.
* At least 17 years old.

Desirable:

* A paediatric first aid qualification (preferred but not essential).
* Experience choreographing or delivering group performances.
* Background in performing arts, dance education, or related coaching discipline.

SALARY – From £106.50 a day

Working Hours: Rota'd between 8am-6pm

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 1 week

Pay: £106.50-£133.00 per day
